My family and I have been patrons since the early to mid-1990s. Their dhalpuri and pastries are the gold standard. I recently discovered their availability on Uber Eats and have placed two orders, both maintaining their superior quality. The doubles were perfect, with fluffy, non-rubbery, and non-greasy bara. Everything was fresh and carefully packaged. I commend Alima's Roti and Pastry for their consistent excellence.
The BEST Roti I’ve had in the GTA! My favourite is their Aloo-Channa (Potatoes-Chick Peas) Roti. The rotis are made fresh after ordering. The Dal-Puri is so soft and tender. I regularly order an extra Daal-Puri to eat with something else at home. This is a Take-Out Only restaurant. The staff are friendly, courteous and fast. I highly recommend trying a Roti from this restaurant.
This is must try Roti place, even though they look Caribbean all Indian must try their Roti insanely good. The coconut rolls pastries are my favourite. The curries are also good but it is semi-dry. My favorite is whole wheat roti and Beef curry
This place is always consistent!!! The chicken roti wrap was phenomenal!! Lots of sauce with a little kick of spice with big chunks of chicken and potatoe. The lentil wrap was on point, will be back for sure!!!

I spend two months out of the year in Trinidad and Tobago, so I’ve come to know the real deal—and this place didn’t disappoint. I started with an Aloo Pie with Chana, and the taste was absolutely incredible. It instantly reminded me of being back in the islands. I also had a hot double, which was phenomenal, and grabbed some frozen doubles to take home. My only suggestion would be to have all the sauces available upfront while preparing the Aloo Pie and doubles, but that’s a minor detail. For my main, I had a Paratha Roti with curry beef. The beef was tender, perfectly seasoned, and the portion size was generous—plenty to take home and enjoy later. My wife ordered the Dhal Roti with curried shrimp and was so impressed with the flavor and seasoning. She did wish there was a little more shrimp in her roti, but honestly, who wouldn’t want more shrimp? The service made the experience even better. The lady who served me was polite, helpful, and made me feel truly appreciated as a customer. Overall, I was very impressed and will definitely be coming back for more of these authentic and nostalgic flavors!

Delicious, hot and fresh! The absolute BEST buss up shot rotis and aloo pies in Canada! Everything is baked fresh daily and the curries are very delicious. Try the doubles and pastries, you will not be disappointed!
Tasty Halal food shop where one can buy rumali rotting among other foodstuffs. No dine-in, though! Only take away.
